Adult Bible Fellowship

Our Adult Bible fellowship ministry is designed for us to dig deeper into God’s word together through mutual study in a classroom setting. They meet at 10:30 am each Sunday.  Several of the Adult Bible Fellowships are studies on specific books of the Bible or topics that relate to a given age or stage of life.

• College and Career class – facilitated by Darrell Driskell (mostly young singles)
• Transformers – taught by Charlie Beninati (mostly young adults)
• Adventures in Life – taught by Carl Hall (mostly parents with older children)
• Corner Stone Class – taught by Ron Byers (mostly middle adulthood and/or “empty nesters”)
• Young at Heart – led by Bill Watson (mostly for  those “in their golden years”)
• Discovery Class – Discussion oriented study through the Bible discussing how Jesus is the focus of all scripture. This class is very eclectic in age and stage of life.
• New Members Class – for those interested in church membership. Check bulletin for times and dates.

Home Groups

Our Home Groups are a great time to share our lives and homes with one another, and to gather around God’s word and to seek how it applies to our lives. This gives us a great opportunity to get to know one another better, pray for one another, and discuss the truth of God’s word as it is fleshed out in real life.  These groups are purposefully designed to be diverse groups in regards age, stage of life and various backgrounds. We meet in various homes throughout the north-metro area of Denver. Please inquire at church for information on locations and times.

Children’s Ministries

Calvary seeks to assist parents in the training of their children through the teaching of the Bible which centers on the good news of Jesus Christ. Our children’s ministries include Sunday School at 10:30 am on Sundays, Children’s Church, AWANA and an annual Vacation Bible School.

AWANA

AWANA is an exciting Wednesday night children’s program, held during the school year, designed to teach children about God through the teaching and memorization of the Bible, mentorship under godly adults, and fun activities.

Youth Ministries

The youth ministries of Calvary exist to reach out to the students of our community with the truth of the gospel and to assist parents in rearing up godly young adults. “Crossfire” is our Wednesday night ministry for those in grades 7-12 meeting at “the garage” at 6:45 pm. This is an exciting night of music, games, and intense discussion concerning real-life topics. The youth of Calvary are taught to evaluate and establish their walk with God.  They will learn how to have a vibrant love relationship with Christ, how to defend their faith, and how to walk in a manner exemplary of a believer in Christ. The youth ministry also includes exiting activities throughout the year.  Parents are given an open door invitation to all of our ministries and activities.

Music Ministries

We provide ways for members to be involved in our music ministries through praise team, special music and vocal ensembles.

Compassion Ministries

Our church seeks to meet the physical needs of those around us where we can in order to share the love of Jesus Christ.
